Job summary

Roundhouse in Utah is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to upkeep and repair multifamily properties. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems while responding quickly to work orders and maintaining safety standards.

You will walk properties to identify issues, keep grounds appealing, and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor for tasks, purchases, and vendor work. A valid driver’s license and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year in general maintenance and repair work.
• Working understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk long hours, climb ladders, work outdoors.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems.
• Respond quickly to work orders and complete to high quality finish.
• Walk the property to catch maintenance issues early and keep it compliant with safety/health codes.
• Protect curb appeal by maintaining grounds, building exteriors, and common areas.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, approve purchases, and coordinate vendors.
• Keep clear records of work performed, materials, hours, and completion status.
• Take turns in after-hours emergency on-call rotation and assist with snow/ice removal.
• Stay current with maintenance software so all work orders are up-to-date.
• Follow safety procedures in Employee Handbook, SOPs, OSHA standards, and on-equipment labels.
