Roundhouse in Roberts, ID is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep up the property by performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa system work. You will respond quickly to work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and help keep residents’ day-to-day experiences positive.

The role offers $19-20/hour plus commissions, with on-call rotation and opportunities to grow in a company dedicated to housing communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year in general maintenance and repair work.
• Working understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems.
• Respond quickly to work orders and complete tasks with high quality.
• Walk property to catch maintenance issues and ensure safety/health code compliance.
• Protect curb appeal by maintaining grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on prioritizing tasks and purchases.
• Keep records of work performed, materials used, and hours billed.
• Take turns in after-hours on-call rotation and assist with snow/ice removal.
• Maintain maintenance software to keep work orders current and on time.
