Job summary

Roundhouse is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Minneapolis properties in top condition. You’ll perform hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems, respond to work orders, and maintain safety and cleanliness across grounds and interiors.

We value initiative, reliability, and teamwork. On-call rotation and the ability to work outdoors in all weather are required, along with a strong customer-service mindset to help residents daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of specialized high-rise maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems.
• Respond fast to work orders and complete each task to a high-quality finish.
• Walk the property to catch maintenance issues early and keep it compliant with safety and health codes.
• Protect curb appeal by keeping grounds, building exteriors, and common areas clean and functional.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, approve purchases, and coordinate vendors.
• Keep clear records of the work you do, including materials, hours, and completion status.
• Take your turn in the after-hours emergency on-call rotation and pitch in on snow and ice removal.
• Stay up-to-date with maintenance software so every work order is current, accurate, and on time.
• Follow all safety procedures in the Employee Handbook, SOPs, OSHA standards, and on-equipment labels.
