Job summary

Roundhouse is seeking a maintenance professional to keep our property in top condition. You will handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems, respond quickly to work orders, and walk the property to catch issues early.

With a focus on safety and quality, you will also manage records, participate in on-call rotations, and use maintenance software to stay current. The role supports our mission of humane, quality housing across several states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year in general maintenance and repair work.
• Understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain upkeep, repair, and overall health of the property.
• Handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems.
• Respond quickly to work orders and complete to a high-quality finish.
• Walk the property to catch maintenance issues and ensure safety/compliance with codes.
• Maintain curb appeal by keeping grounds, exteriors, and common areas clean.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks and purchases.
• Keep records of materials, hours, and status of work.
• Take turns in after-hours on-call rotation and assist with snow/ice removal.
• Maintain maintenance software to keep orders current and on time.
• Follow all safety procedures in handbook, SOPs, OSHA standards, and labels.
