Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for multifamily properties in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on making ready apartments, expediting service, and delivering high resident satisfaction through personal attention and prompt responses.

The technician will handle plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal as needed, while maintaining safety and cleanliness across properties and common areas. On-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 Type II and CPO or local city certificate required.
• Ability to read and understand policy manuals, safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Proficient in basic carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments (painting, carpet, cleaning, repairs).
• Respond to resident requests promptly with a professional attitude.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, pools/hot tubs, and dog park amenities.
• On-call scheduling may be required for after-hours emergencies.
• Perform duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and report issues timely.
