Job summary

Community Corporation of Santa Monica is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician Level 2 to join our team. This role handles a broad range of repairs across multifamily communities, troubleshoots issues, and supports senior technicians while applying strong problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2-4 years hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily housing or similar.
• Trade certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize daily work orders using Yardi.
• Coordinate with residents when scheduling service.
• Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for each job.
• Independently perform maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Document work and close out orders in Yardi.
• Maintain tools and materials organization.
• Inspect units and common areas for maintenance needs.
• Assist with diagnostics and repair of key building systems.
• Collaborate with senior technicians on complex repairs.
