Job summary

SRG Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our Ventura, CA community. This role focuses on turnover, renovations, and responsive maintenance across a 316-unit property.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, boilers and HVAC work with safety and quality in mind, and participate in after-hours coverage as needed. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, appliances, HVAC, etc.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and MSDS handling for scope of work.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders and safety/maintenance manuals.
• Excellent customer service and professional interaction with residents, coworkers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Work on turnover and renovation units and respond to maintenance service requests.
• Perform repairs including drywall, painting, plumbing, HVAC, appliances and related systems.
• Assist with emergency/on-call coverage as required by schedule.
• Operate tools and fabricating equipment to repair or fabricate parts and fixtures.
• Maintain inventory and keep facilities, equipment, and paperwork in order.
