Job summary

MAA Cypress Cove is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs, ensuring apartments and facilities are in good working order. You will diagnose and fix HVAC systems, electrical outlets, plumbing, and other fixtures, while preparing units for move-in.

We require 1–3 years in multifamily maintenance, HVAC experience, and EPA Type II or Universal certification (or obtain within 90 days). A valid state driver’s license is also needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in good working order.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units.
• Repair electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures; plumbing, carpentry, and locks as needed.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and perform post-repair follow-up with residents.
• Improve property conditions and assist in maintaining high standards of service.
