ACC Management Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and painting, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. The role supports a sister property in Decatur, with an on-call rotation every other week and a flexible 32- to 40-hour schedule.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of maintenance experience, basic electrical/plumbing knowledge, and the ability to handle tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience
• Multi-family property maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, groundskeeping, and troubleshooting
• Must be able to physically inspect the properties
• Able to use a variety of common tools and equipment (circular saw, drill, jig saw, electrical tester, hand tools, power tools)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Flexibility for on-call emergencies and varied hours
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Monitor interior and exterior for maintenance issues and inspect apartments, buildings, and common areas
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and keep work areas clean
• Perform electrical fixes (outlets, switches, fixtures, breakers)
• Address plumbing issues (faucets, re-piping, toilets, sinks)
• Handle heating/cooling maintenance and filter cleaning
• Perform groundskeeping and seasonal snow removal and landscaping
• Carry out carpentry and drywall repairs as needed
• Paint units and common areas; replace windows and screens
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace appliances
• Maintain logs for trash pickups and snow removal; ensure timely billing
• Repair locks and deadbolts; update manager on work orders
• Conduct unit turnovers and maintain safety/hazards reporting
• Perform preventative maintenance on safety systems and alarms
• Respond to on-call emergencies within 20 minutes
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and work with vendors as needed
• Assist other properties with maintenance requests
• All other duties as assigned
