Job summary

ACM LLC is seeking a Maintenance Tech in Decatur, GA to perform maintenance on buildings, fixtures, and residential spaces. You will handle appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, respond to work orders, and complete preventative tasks while coordinating with residents and staff.

Must be available for on-call, weekends, and overtime as needed; strong communication and customer service skills are essential for ensuring quality resident services.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret simple instructions, memos, and notices.
• Ability to perform basic measurements and calculations in various units.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service mindset.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel; basic internet use.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with employees daily.
• Respond to resident work orders for occupied and vacant units.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, and HVAC/electrical systems as needed.
• Perform maintenance requests and routine preventative maintenance.
• Inspect vacant units and prepare for move-ins.
• Work on-call 24/7, weekends, and overtime as needed with manager approval.
• Operate tasks safely per procedures and complete grounds work as required.
• Assist other communities within the organization as needed.
