Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in New Jersey seeks a Maintenance Technician, Multifamily to support residents with move-ins, service requests, and daily upkeep. You will perform general maintenance, respond promptly, and help deliver outstanding customer service.

You should have knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and preventive maintenance. The role involves on-site duties, safety compliance, on-call shifts, and coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience in maintenance
• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
• Knowledge of residential maintenance functions including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Prepares make-ready apartments and performs repairs to provide quality move-in experience
• Responds to resident requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities for safety and cleanliness
• On-call scheduling may be required for after-hours emergencies
• Reports maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor and performs scheduled work
