Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at a Houston multifamily community in Texas. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and delivering an exceptional resident experience through strong technical and people leadership.

You will oversee service requests, preventative maintenance, vendor management, and budget adherence, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies for a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
• CAMT certification preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations, service requests, make-ready and preventative maintenance.
• Schedule and assign work orders; manage vendors and inventory within budget.
• Lead and develop maintenanceTechnicians; conduct hiring, training and performance reviews.
• Maintain safety, OSHA compliance, and property records; ensure resident satisfaction and timely response to requests.
