Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and perform multifamily maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and reliable operations across the community.

The role includes supervising a maintenance team, managing service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating with vendors. A strong technical background and customer-service focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification as required by the property.
• Proven ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and guide maintenance team to complete tasks on time.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance issues.
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Oversee make-ready process, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Ensure common areas and grounds are clean and safe.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and contracted maintenance work.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and document results.
• Maintain inventory and order materials within budget.
• Ensure safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and vendors.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and minimize unnecessary replacements.
