Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its Madison, Wisconsin properties. The role involves hands-on repairs 60–70% of the time and supervising associates and outside contractors for comprehensive property maintenance.

You will support the Property Manager in delivering excellent customer service, manage service requests, inspect grounds, and ensure safety and high curb appeal while adhering to Peak policies and local codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in multifamily housing preferred.
• EPA Type II Certification required; CPO preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; reliable personal vehicle required.
• Other licenses/certifications as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team and outside contractors.
• Prioritize and assign service requests; monitor daily completion and follow up.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to ensure curb appeal and safety.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and energy-saving measures.
• Manage maintenance inventory within budget; maintain organized shop and safety compliance.
• Direct vendors and contractors for all turn events within budget; prepare vacant units for marketing.
• Assist residents with move-in/move-out and support general upkeep of common areas.
• Collaborate with Property Manager and National Facilities Director on bids and capital improvements.
