Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to coordinate with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager to improve net operating income by maintaining interior and exterior property standards at or below budget. The role focuses on prompt repairs, safety, and resident satisfaction.

The position requires supervising maintenance staff, managing budgets, prioritizing work orders, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and safety regulations. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of multifamily maintenance experience or training.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience (preferred).
• EPA certification is required.
• CPO certification is preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools used.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance of the property and grounds, directing maintenance staff.
• Maintain the operating budget and obtain competitive bids for supplies and services.
• Process POs and invoices to control costs.
• Prioritize work orders and track completion for resident satisfaction.
• Oversee safety, compliance with codes, and oversee construction projects.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Mentor and train maintenance team members to enhance skills.
