Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to coordinate a skilled team, manage budgets, and ensure timely upkeep of the property. You’ll supervise maintenance staff, perform repairs on HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and maintain safety and documentation to support resident satisfaction.

The role requires supervisory experience and EPA certification, with a focus on cost control, safety compliance, and on-site leadership at an apartment community.

Qualifications

• Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training.
• One year of supervisory experience – Preferred
• EPA certification required
• CPO – Preferred
• Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure maintenance of the property and grounds.
• Maintain the property's operating budget and secure competitive bids for supplies and services.
• Process purchase orders (POs) and invoices to keep costs under control.
• Review and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee the maintenance, safety, and compliance with codes; oversee construction projects.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to maintain property functionality.
• Liaise with the property manager and respond to maintenance emergencies; maintain records and cost-saving initiatives.
• Implement preventative maintenance plans and adhere to OSHA regulations; maintain a drug- and alcohol-free workplace.
• Mentor and train maintenance team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
