Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Sales Account Manager to develop new business with apartment communities and multifamily management firms. You will maintain relationships with Property Managers, Leasing Agents, Maintenance personnel, and other contacts to identify flooring needs, present quotes, and drive sales.

You will visit properties regularly, measure flooring requirements, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure excellent service.

Qualifications

• Previous sales, account management, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in the multifamily apartment industry preferred.
• Flooring industry experience preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to customer and property locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with apartment communities and multifamily management companies.
• Maintain and grow relationships with established apartment community clients.
• Assist the Sales Manager with coordination and management of large corporate and multifamily accounts.
• Interact daily with Property Managers, Leasing Agents, Maintenance Personnel, and other property-level contacts.
• Conduct frequent property visits to measure flooring requirements and develop customer relationships.
• Prepare accurate measurements, quotes, and proposals.
• Grow business by building trust and providing exceptional customer service.
• Identify additional sales opportunities within existing accounts and properties.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Installation, Operations, and other departments to ensure high service levels.
• Review flooring orders for accuracy prior to submission.
• Assist with quality control and resolution of issues.
• Follow up on quotes, orders, installations, and customer requests.
• Attend local apartment association meetings and industry events to represent the company.
