Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Manager I to coordinate maintenance and repair work for buildings and facilities. You will prepare schedules, assign tasks to staff, oversee repairs, and monitor maintenance budgets while ensuring high service standards for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include safety training, inspections, and adherence to OSHA regulations, with on-call duties and collaboration with the Community Manager to meet property needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of progressive maintenance and safety experience.
• Up to 299 units in one community.
• Advanced computer skills and industry-specific technology to coordinate and help respond to resident/management requests for the property.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work independently and prioritizes tasks.
• High School diploma - preferred
• Required Certifications: EPA Core, Type I-Appliances, Type II-HAVC, Certified Pool Operator
• Required to provide own (industry-specific) hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Using independent judgment, completes maintenance employee schedules and communicates assignments to maintenance staff.
• Responsible for safety and skill training for all maintenance employees.
• Daily property and grounds inspections; ensure repairs are completed per company standards.
• Understand and comply with OSHA and safety requirements; knowledge of codes and internal policies.
• Inspect, maintain, install, repair, replace, and clean equipment; source and install new equipment.
• Assist in ensuring preventive maintenance programs are implemented and documented.
• Maintain tools and participate in on-call duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
