Job summary

ARCO is seeking a self-motivated Business Development Manager to join our Tampa team. You will develop new client relationships, expand ARCO’s footprint across the United States, and actively prospect to grow market opportunities in multifamily design/build projects.

You will travel to prospective clients, manage the sales and proposal process, and collaborate with marketing, estimators, project managers, and senior leadership to execute the sales plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Strong business acumen within the A/E/C industry, ideally multifamily.
• Technical sales experience in construction with a proven track record.
• Broad background with working knowledge of design/build construction.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top-of-mind awareness.
• Research key economic factors influencing market activity in niche markets or geographic areas.
• Attend trade shows and associations’ meetings to stay informed on market conditions and relationships with clients.
• Provide progress updates on new business development activities to ARCO management.
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan.
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with marketing, estimators, project managers and senior management.
• Travel to prospective clients and markets as needed.
