ARCO a Family of Construction Companies in Fort Myers, FL, seeks a motivated Business Development Manager to build and expand client relationships across the United States. You will prospect, network, and collaborate with internal teams to pursue design/build opportunities in the A/E/C sector.

The role requires proven sales success in construction, strong business acumen, and the ability to travel as needed. ARCO offers an industry-leading bonus program, ESOP, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong business acumen in A/E/C industry, ideally multifamily.
• Technical sales experience in construction with proven results.
• Broad business background with knowledge of design/build concepts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish positive top of mind awareness.
• Research and analyze key economic factors influencing market activity in niche markets or areas.
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay updated and build client relationships.
• Provide progress updates on new business development activities to ARCO management.
• Help develop and manage the sales plan.
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with marketing, estimator, PM, and senior management.
• Travel to prospective clients and markets as needed.
• Establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies.
