Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for multifamily construction in Indianapolis, IN. You will support the construction team from bidding through completion, partner with the Project Manager on budgets, permits, subcontractor relationships, and scheduling, and ensure day-to-day coordination across sites.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in construction, permits experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office with knowledge of job costing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in new construction, renovation, or capital improvement projects.
• Experience pulling permits and working with building officials.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a solid understanding of job costing.
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor relationships and help develop work scopes.
• Assist with budgets, bid processes, and construction document production.
• Submit permits and handle local/state licensing requirements.
• Collect and review draw paperwork, invoices, lien waivers, and insurance documents.
• Manage RFIs, ASIs, and plan change communications with site staff and design teams.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines.
