Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Construction Assistant Project Manager to support multifamily development and construction efforts in the Boston market. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and development professionals to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The role offers exposure to both construction and development sides of the business, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, documentation, and project controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, civil eng, arch, or related field.
• 2+ years of construction or PM experience.
• Experience with multifamily or ground-up construction.
• Understanding of drawings, specifications, contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of ground-up multifamily projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Support PMs with day-to-day management activities.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subs, vendors.
• Assist with budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.
• Review construction documents, drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration.
• Monitor project schedules and assist with milestone tracking.
• Participate in project and subcontractor meetings.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure construction activities align with project plans and schedules.
