Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for commercial construction in Boston, MA. You will support the Project Manager and project team from preconstruction through completion, coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and clients on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Commercial construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and project documentation.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Ability to work with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall management and coordination of commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Assist with project scheduling and tracking.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and commitments.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting documentation.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement and coordination.
• Track project progress and communicate updates to the project team.
• Identify potential project issues and assist with resolution.
• Maintain accurate project files and documentation.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure work is progressing according to plans and specifications.
• Assist with project closeout activities.
• Visit active construction sites as needed.
