Job summary

Advanced Asset Management (AAM Living) in Sherman, Texas is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a multifamily community. You will manage leasing, resident services, maintenance coordination, and financial performance to drive occupancy and tenant satisfaction.

Lead a on-site team, coordinate with vendors, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily property management experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws.
• CAM, ARM, or CPM certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily community operations including leasing, resident services, maintenance, collections, and admin activities.
• Lead and coach onsite team to meet performance standards and company expectations.
• Drive leasing, occupancy, renewals, and resident retention through effective property management and team performance.
• Monitor rental income, rent collections, delinquency, concessions, expenses, and overall property financial performance.
• Prepare, review, and manage property budgets, financial reports, invoices, and operating expenses.
• Manage resident relations, address escalated concerns, and resolve complaints professionally.
• Oversee the leasing process, including applications, move-ins, renewals, and retention.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to ensure timely work orders and repairs.
• Maintain accurate property records, leasing data, and operational documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, landlord-tenant laws, LIHTC when applicable.
