Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• EMR/EHR experience preferred.
• Experience in a primary health care setting preferred.
• Knowledgeable of personal computers.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to travel to other clinic sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists with day-to-day front and back office operations.
• Administers injections and assists with EKGs, screenings, and basic exams.
• Obtains patient history, vital signs, and documents quality metrics.
• Maintains inventory of medical supplies and ensures equipment readiness.
• Registers patients, updates demographics, and verifies insurance.
• Performs end-of-day reconciliations and handles cash deposits.
• Prepares for next day by chart prep and pre-registration.
• Provides exceptional customer service and supports other departments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
