Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations, guest service, and sales initiatives across a multiunit footprint. You will drive a high-performing team, uphold company standards, and foster a customer-focused shopping experience.

You will supervise scheduling, payroll, and training, ensuring compliance and inventory integrity while promoting Omni-Channel fulfillment and a competitive sales culture across the district.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, answer questions, and promote promotions.
• Support the shopping environment, visual/operational elements, and guest relationships.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS; ensure accurate transactions and receipts.
• Respond to guest questions in person or by phone; greet clients professionally.
• Promote loyalty programs (e.g., Pro Rewards) and reservations/trade-ins.
• Recruit, interview, hire, develop, and retain high-performing associates.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance before shifts; enforce policies and security.
