Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all facets of store operations across the district, cultivating a high‑performing sales culture and delivering outstanding guest service. The role involves supervision of retail staff, inventory control, training, and implementing company policies to meet sales and profit goals.

You will engage guests with product knowledge, manage scheduling and payroll, ensure a clean, organized store, and drive Omni‑Channel fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in a multiunit capacity and manage store operations.
• Provide best-in-class guest service and promote promotions.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, and store staffing to optimize service.
• Ensure inventory control, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
• Train and develop associates, onboarding and policy compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized shopping environment and process Omni-Channel orders.
• Communicate with District Manager to implement initiatives.
