Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales, and promote a guest-centric shopping experience. You will supervise a retail staff, manage onboarding and training, and ensure compliance with store policies while maximizing profits.

You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, executing promotional initiatives, and maintaining store standards for merchandising and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and model best-in-class guest service, greeting guests and answering questions promptly.
• Lead and supervise a retail staff across multiple units as needed.
• Promote store initiatives and ensure guest loyalty programs are communicated.
• Schedule associates and manage breaks, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
• Process payroll and time off requests, and verify time worked.
• Maintain a neat, organized store and ensure merchandise is easy to see and buy.
