Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Store Manager in the United States to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and lead a retail team across locations. Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead store operations in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service and greet guests; respond to questions and promote promotions.
• Support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS and ensure top-notch guest service.
• Recruit, interview, hire, develop, and retain high-performing associates.
• Ensure onboarding, job training, and compliance training prior to opening or closing a shift.
• Schedule staff to ensure optimal guest service and manage payroll and time off.
• Lead the store team to meet sales, profit, and shrink goals and perform required admin duties.
