Job summary

7-Eleven seeks a capable Area Leader Trainee to oversee 12–14 store locations, training staff to provide outstanding customer service and implementing merchandising programs. The role focuses on cash and inventory control while driving sales and ensuring profitability across a district.

You will manage staffing, set performance goals, and collaborate with upper management to optimize operations and growth within the district. A 4-year degree or equivalent leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree from an accredited college or university or 5+ years of district/regional retail management experience.
• Experience managing multiple stores and 100+ employees.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated, and perform repetitive bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 12–14 store locations in the district.
• Train and supervise Store Leaders and staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Implement merchandising programs, manage cash and inventory, and drive sales.
• Lead budget planning and profit & loss management, monitor results with upper management.
• Set performance goals and communicate objectives to the team.
