Job summary

Avolta is seeking a General Manager II to lead a complex QSR or casual dining operation near Phoenix with annual sales over $4M. The GMII ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, and open for business, making broad leadership decisions to drive success.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, P&L ownership, and implementing brand standards while delivering exceptional guest experience and financial results.

Qualifications

• GMIIs must have documented and demonstrated skills managing restaurants similar in complexity (QSR, casual dine or small clusters).
• Typically 3+ years in restaurant P&L management; 5–7 years of overall restaurant experience.
• Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute part of experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and close: ensure staff follow opening/closing checklists and prepare for business hours.
• Staffing/deployment: deploy staff to maximize profitability; supervise hiring, promotions, and terminations; ensure diversity and inclusion.
• Oversee procurement: manage orders, receiving, invoices, and vendor communications; monitor product availability.
• Maintain brand standards: train staff, ensure compliance with CBAs, leases, and brand protocols; drive revenue growth.
• Safety and compliance: uphold health, safety, and regulatory standards; ensure onboarding and training.
