Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Marshall, MI is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead daily operations, drive financial performance, and develop a high-performing team of managers and hourly TEAM Members.

You will implement company standards, mentor leaders, manage guest experience, safety, and cost controls, and partner with the Area Director to achieve growth within the local market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management experience with direct P&L accountability; national chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Managers and Hourly TEAM Members within their location.
• Ensures prompt, friendly service according to Company guidelines; maintains guest experience as a priority.
• Manages staffing levels and schedules to meet sales demands while maintaining costs.
• Maintains and enforces safety, security and sanitation standards; manages inventory and vendor relationships.
• Drives development of managers through regular performance evaluations and coaching.
