Job summary

Dave’s Hot Chicken is seeking a Director of Operations to lead and support a growing multi-location restaurant operation. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining brand standards, and driving profitability across sites.

The ideal candidate will have extensive restaurant leadership experience, a proven track record in developing GMs and leaders, and the ability to travel regularly to oversee locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive restaurant operations leadership experience.
• 3+ years of successful multi-unit leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of restaurant P&L management, labor, food cost, sales building and profitability.
• Excellent communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance people, operations, guest experience, and profitability.
• Willingness to travel regularly between restaurant locations and work weekends/nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for multiple Dave’s Hot Chicken locations.
• Ensure restaurants consistently execute operational standards, food quality, cleanliness, hospitality, and brand expectations.
• Conduct regular restaurant visits and provide actionable feedback to leadership teams.
• Identify operational opportunities and develop plans to improve performance.
• Staff appropriately and maintain strong standards for safety and compliance.
• Support new restaurant openings with staffing, training, and leadership development.
