Job summary

CulinArt Group, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive operations alongside the General Manager within an upscale dining program. You will uphold safety, sanitation, and budget goals while leading a diverse team across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of upscale food service and 1 year of multi-unit management, plus strong leadership and HACCP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7 years upscale food service experience, including 1 year multi-unit management.
• Strong leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching experience.
• Cash handling and reconciliation knowledge.
• HACCP knowledge and proper food storage procedures.
• Compliance with health and fire regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in line with policies and laws.
• Interviews, hires, trains and coaches employees and managers.
• Maintain food cost while upholding quality standards.
• Manage purchasing and inventory controls.
• Coordinate with chefs on menu planning.
• Ensure HACCP controls and proper food storage.
• Develop interdepartmental relationships to improve service.
