Compass Group USA seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in managing the account in line with the approved budget and client expectations. You will lead safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs while building strong relationships with staff, guests, and the client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality/food service or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in upscale food service with multi-unit oversight.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws
• Interviews, hires, trains and coaches employees and managers
• Maintains food cost while ensuring quality standards
• Manages purchasing and inventory controls
• Promotes HACCP compliance and proper food storage/use
• Ensures health and safety regulations are followed
