Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a District Manager to drive profit and loss for the assigned district and align with company objectives and policies. This role leads multi-unit operations, develops Store Managers, and ensures exceptional customer service and merchandising standards.

The District Manager will travel weekly in a company vehicle, manage budgets, analyze financial data, and implement strategies to achieve sales targets while protecting assets and improving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility and full P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Big-box retail management experience and/or equivalent education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the brand culture across stores and ensure excellent customer service.
• Drive annual sales growth to meet or exceed company targets through strong operations.
• Ensure superior visual merchandising, product management and pricing execution in each store.
• Plan and execute company objectives; optimize scheduling and store operations.
