Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) in Pensacola, FL is seeking a skilled HVAC/R technician to install and repair large air-conditioning refrigeration systems.

Candidates should have substantial experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of walk-in refrigerators, HVAC systems, and related equipment; specialized experience and Universal Technician Certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in installing and repairing air-conditioning refrigeration systems.
• Five years of experience in installing, repairing, maintaining and servicing of industrial and domestic refrigeration systems with current certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and locates malfunctions.
• Disassembles, repairs, replaces and/or adjust thermostats, relays and other control devices.
• Disassembles and repairs compressors and related components.
• Tests for leaks and load conditions.
• Installs and services refrigerating equipment including walk-in and reach-in units.
