Job summary

Freeman Webb Company is seeking a maintenance professional to oversee and perform a wide range of repair and refurbishment tasks in residential units and common areas. You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting, while helping with custodial duties and grounds maintenance.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to read manuals, and a willingness to work on a standby schedule for evenings, weekends, and holidays. A valid driver's license and GED are required.

Qualifications

• Must complete essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations as needed.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance is expected.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all types of maintenance projects and repairs.
• Perform electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets.
• Perform plumbing work and replace fittings; replace glass, tile, carpet, fixtures.
• Paint interiors and exteriors; perform carpentry tasks and shelf building.
• Assist in custodial work and grounds maintenance as needed in common areas.
• Assist in schedule coordination, inspections and stock control; train staff.
