Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California seeks an enthusiastic educator to teach with purpose across our charter network, delivering rigorous, culturally responsive instruction and embedding Social Emotional Learning in daily practice.

You will collaborate with the Leadership Team, design thoughtful lessons, analyze student data to inform instruction, uphold restorative practices, and build strong partnerships with families and communities to advance each student’s path toward college, career,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from a regionally accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential or eligibility for TIP/STS.
• Strong content area knowledge and high expectations for all students.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily lessons and long-term curriculum aligned with KIPP’s vision.
• Analyze data to identify trends and inform instruction.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom with restorative practices.
• Implement culturally responsive classroom management.
• Communicate regularly with staff, students, families, and stakeholders.
• Attend weekly professional development and Communities of Practice.
• Update student records including attendance, grades, behavior.
