Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California invites applicants for Multiple Subject teaching roles. You will design engaging lessons, use data to guide instruction, and build a joyful, inclusive classroom grounded in SEL and restorative practices. Collaboration with coaches and leaders supports ongoing growth.

You will commit to equity, anti-racism, and culturally responsive teaching, engaging families and communities to ensure student success across sites in the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution is required.
• Hold a valid teaching credential in the subject or be eligible for a permit (CPR certification prerequisite).
• Commitment to anti-racist, culturally responsive teaching is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily and long-term lesson plans aligned with KIPP’s vision.
• Analyze student data regularly to inform instruction and growth.
• Foster an inclusive, rigorous classroom grounded in restorative practices and SEL.
• Use culturally responsive management to ensure safety, belonging, and high expectations.
• Communicate proactively with families and leaders to build partnerships.
• Engage in weekly professional development and Communities of Practice.
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and behavior data.
