Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking dedicated teachers to bring to life rigorous academics and an inclusive school culture in Oakland. The role emphasizes daily lesson planning, thoughtful curriculum design, and regular data analysis to support student growth.

Teachers will implement Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices while collaborating with the Leadership Team and Instructional Coach to refine instructional practices and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hold a B.A/B.S from a regionally accredited institution.
• Meet one of the following eligibility requirements: Hold a valid teaching credential in the desired subject or Eligibility for a Provisional Internship Permit or Eligibility for a Short Term Staff Permit.
• Commitment to KIPP mission and anti-racist education.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and communities.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily lessons and design curriculum to realize academic and cultural visions.
• Analyze data regularly to support student growth and learning.
• Implement Social Emotional Learning lessons and Restorative Practices in the classroom.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team and Instructional Coach through weekly meetings and feedback.
