Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a proven retail leader to plan and lead operations across multiple stores within the assigned area. The role carries full P&L responsibility and requires strategic execution of company objectives to drive regional growth.

You will mentor store teams, optimize scheduling, control expenses, and recruit and develop employees while ensuring superior customer service and inventory execution. Weekly travel in a company vehicle is required.

Qualifications

• Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility, managing multi-unit operations in retail, grocery or convenience store operations with full P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Big-box retail management and/or equivalent education and experience combination will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams by fostering a culture aligned with Dollar General's mission and values.
• Drive area annual sales growth through quality orders and efficient flow processes.
• Ensure effective planning and execution of company objectives and optimal scheduling.
• Recruit, develop and educate employees while protecting company assets and controlling expenses.
• Communicate divisional and regional priorities to store teams and support real estate/site selection efforts.
• Travel weekly in a company-provided vehicle with a valid driver's license.
