Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Store Manager to supervise operations, lead a retail team, and deliver exceptional guest service. The role focuses on driving sales, managing schedules, and upholding store standards across a multiunit capacity.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of retail management, strong leadership and communication, and a passion for video games. 40-hour weeks with possible extended hours and weekends. Retail knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in a multiunit capacity and manage store operations.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service and promote a sales culture.
• Support store environment, visual and operational elements, and guest relationships to drive sales and loyalty.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS and ensure top-notch guest service.
• Communicate with District Manager and train staff on company policies and procedures.
• Schedule staff, approve payroll, and monitor staffing levels to ensure service quality.
• Protect assets with loss prevention practices and accurate inventory management.
