Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations and drive guest satisfaction. You will lead a retail team, promote sales initiatives, and maintain store standards across staffing, inventory, and POS processes.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional guest service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in retail management and knowledge of gaming products are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
• Retail management experience (1+ year) required; leadership experience valued.
• Retail sales, guest service, and leadership experience preferred (3+ years).
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service and greet guests.
• Promote sales initiatives and loyalty programs.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop store associates.
• Ensure onboarding and training prior to opening/closing shifts.
• Schedule staff and approve payroll.
• Maintain store appearance, security, and safety standards.
• Oversee inventory, POS operations, and bank deposits.
• Lead team to achieve sales, profit, and shrink goals.
