Job summary

Hawaiian Housewares, LLC is seeking a Professional Driver to join our national distribution team. You will train with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) and progress to delivering products safely and efficiently across assigned routes. DOT regulation compliance and customer service excellence are essential.

Starting pay is $24.50/hr with a $6000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision from day 1, 401(k) matching, and safety shoe allowance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle after training (semi-truck, eighteen-wheeler, etc.).

• Inspect and document equipment to ensure operability and regulatory compliance.
• Travel as needed to deliver to customers.

Job Description Summary
C&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe, efficient, and service forward fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C and S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

You Will Contribute By:

• Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C and S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck, eighteen-wheeler, box truck, etc.)

• Applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product

• Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day

• Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements

• Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements

• All other duties as assigned

• Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)

• Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

• Must be at least 21 years old

Years Of Experience

• 1-2 : Minimum driving/delivering experience
