Job summary

Hawaiian Housewares, LLC is seeking an Experienced Class A Delivery Driver to join our team in a role that includes driving, warehouse duties, and inventory tasks. You will train under a Professional Driver Trainer and deliver per DOT regulations while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Starting pay is $33 per hour with a $6K sign-on bonus and benefits from day one, including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• DOT Certified; Class A CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid DOT medical exam.
• DOT/FMCSR/Company policies compliance.
• Customer-service oriented; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CMV (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc.) to transport and deliver product.
• Load and unload at customers (ambient or temperature controlled) with ~3–10 stops per day.
• Inspect and document equipment; ensure operability per regulations.
• Perform routine inspections per regulatory requirements.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• Travel required: Yes.

Position Overview

C&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe, efficient, and service forward fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

• Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product
• Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day
• Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements
• Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
