Job summary

Knudtsen Auto Group in Post Falls, ID seeks a detail-oriented Title Clerk to manage titles and registrations for Idaho, Washington, and out-of-state customers. You will ensure accuracy, comply with varying state rules, and work with deal processors, F&I, DMVs, and clients to prevent delays.

Ideal candidates bring DMV/titling experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to navigate multi-state requirements while maintaining audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive titling, registration processing or related admin work.
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with dealership management systems (DMS); Tekion experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle titles and registrations across Idaho, Washington and out-of-state customers.
• Navigate electronic and traditional DMV processes per state requirements.
• Review title documents, lien information and odometer disclosures for accuracy.
• Track outstanding title work and resolve documentation issues.
• Coordinate with deal processors, F&I, DMV offices and customers to keep transactions moving.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support reporting, reconciliations and title-related administrative functions.
• Serve as a resource for title and registration questions across the organization.
