CHOC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to provide frontline payroll support for 5,000+ associates. You will manage bi-weekly multi-state payroll using Workday and Kronos, ensure accuracy of timekeeping, and handle wage garnishments and adjustments. Training duties and data integrity across HR systems are essential.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, high-volume processing, and strong customer service within a CA regulatory framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in multi-state payroll and California wage laws preferred.
• Knowledge of HR/payroll systems and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll from start to finish.
• Load data for variable pay and ensure time records are accurate.
• Process adjustments, garnishments, and manual checks as needed.
• Collaborate with HR and finance to integrate payroll data with systems.
• Create training materials and conduct sessions on time and attendance.
• Respond to unemployment insurance and wage withholding requests.
