Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage in-house weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states, including private and prevailing wage projects. You will coordinate with HRIS onboarding, handle garnishments, W-4 and state forms, and ensure accurate pay, benefits, and tax calculations.

This role requires 3-5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting, and strong proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Performs weekly multi-state payroll processing for 500+ employees.
• Coordinates onboarding from HRIS into payroll system with Benefits/HR teams.
• Manages garnishments, levies, and child support in line with regulations.
• Audits payroll data and employee self-service updates for accuracy.
