Job summary

HBC Management Services, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team and support 1000+ employees across multiple states.

You will work with the Payroll Administrator to ensure timely, accurate payroll processing bi-weekly and off-cycle, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. The ideal candidate has experience with Paylocity, strong Excel skills, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

4+ years experience processing multi-state payroll.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
Experience processing bi-weekly payrolls with more than 1000 employees.
Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Prior experience with Paylocity Web Pay and Time and Labor desired.

Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll for 1000+ employees across multiple states.
Ensure payroll complies with Federal & State and local tax laws and company policies.
Review payroll reports, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
Provide excellent customer service to managers and employees on payroll issues.
Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and wage updates.
